Flagger (Traffic Control Person)
Full-Time / Part-Time
- Location: Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley, BC
- Pay: $22–$28/hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Flexible — days, evenings, weekends available
- Experience: Not required — BCCSA training provided by us
- Start Date: Immediate openings available
Senior Flagger / Lead TCP
Full-Time
- Location: Langley, Surrey & surrounding areas
- Pay: $26–$30/hour (experience required)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (some weekends)
- Experience: 1+ year TCP experience preferred
- Start Date: Immediate openings available

What We Need
Requirements
Most of our best flaggers started with zero experience. Here's what actually matters:
✅ Must Have
- Valid BC driver's license (Class 5 minimum)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Good communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Legal right to work in Canada
⭐ Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Previous flagging or TCP experience
- BCCSA Traffic Control certification
- Experience in construction or trades
- First Aid certificate
- Own vehicle (truck or van)

No experience needed! Township Traffic provides full BCCSA Traffic Control certification training. If you’re reliable, physically fit, and ready to work outdoors — we can train you for everything else.
Entry-level flaggers start at $22–$24/hour. Experienced TCPs can earn $26–$30/hour. Pay increases with experience and certifications. Overtime is often available on large projects.
We hire across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and the Fraser Valley — including Langley, Surrey, Burnaby, Vancouver, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, and more.
BCCSA (BC Construction Safety Alliance) certification is required to work as a Traffic Control Person in BC. If you don’t have it, don’t worry — Township Traffic covers the cost of your training and certification.
We offer both! Full-time positions are available for those wanting steady work. We also accommodate part-time schedules for people with other commitments. Scheduling is flexible.
Fast! Once hired, we aim to get you trained and on-site within 1–2 weeks depending on scheduling. Some candidates start even sooner if they already hold BCCSA certification.
